  • Homebrew Con 2022
    • There is a need for a member to take the lead on this event.
    • It was suggested that some of the money budgeted for Homebrew Con go towards the cost of ingredients for members to brew donor kegs for Club Night.
    • SCBG Booth
      • We need a new booth logo.
        • Tim Paul mentioned he could have one fabricated.
      • Doug Moyer has the tap handles used at previous Homebrew Cons with removable labels.
    • Multiple members expressed interest in brewing batches to serve at Club Night. Style varieties should be coordinated.
    • New SCBG banners will need to be purchased.
  • 25th Anniversary Event
    • Harry Montoro has volunteered to be a part of this event’s planning committee.
    • There was a good amount of brainstorming around the direction of the event. The range of ideas fell into the following categories:
      • Private event being more of a party for the members.
      • Public event focused on celebrating the Guild’s 25 years of operation and creating public interest. An extreme example of this would be a Guild beer festival.
      • Somewhere in the middle of the two.
  • 50/50 Raffle
    • Based on participation during this meeting the 50/50 will continue. Thanks Harry Montoro for running the raffle.
  • Regular Brew Sessions at Southern Hills Homebrew Supply
    • We will be having regular brew days again soon. Weather permitting.
    • Possible electric system brewing in the grain house during cold and rainy weather was discussed.
    • Need for a consistent Saturday or Sunday of the month or bimonthly to be set to help increase participation.
  • Open Floor
    • Chris Gray suggested the Guild start planning to participate in a food truck rodeo or other type of outdoor event once the weather breaks. This would include homebrew samples for the public. The SCBG would gain visibility and possibly new members while helping support local food trucks.
      • Chris Stevens indicated we may be able to use the Big Lick Brewing truck for said event.
  • 2022 Budget
    • Harry Montoro presented the 2022 proposed budget which was approved as presented.
