      • Tim will contact the ABC in attempts to gain a banquet license

      • The Square Society has stated that they are planning on holding Microfestivus 2023!
      • Communications have begun with the president of the Square Society Kristin Hunt to see how the Guild will be able to contribute to this event

    • September 2023 – Q3 21A American IPA Competition
    • October 2023 – Q4 10C Weizenbock Style Presentation
    • November 4, 2023 – Learn to Homebrew Day
      • Need brewers, beer donors, ABC license, food etc
    • December 2023 – Christmas Party and Q4 10C Weizenbock Competition
  • Ideas for growth in Guild participation and membership continued
    • Rudy will work with Lynn on updating our fliers
    • John Thompson has also volunteered to help out on this project
  • Website content has been brought up to current with meeting notes and BOTY posts
    • A request for volunteers to help update content and update look and feel
  • Majority of the members present agreed with continuing to have the business portion of the meeting prior to social hour
    • Competition meetings will continue to have the meeting start following judging sessions

    • John gave some updates on interest of combined efforts with The Smith Mountain Mashers and Microfestivus
      • Harry will reach out to Robin via email
  • Q1 American Pale Ale (18B) Style Presentation
    • Keith Fields brought three commercial examples and supplied print outs for the style guild lines
      • Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Oskar Blues Brewery Dales Pale Ale, Maine Beer Company MO
  • 50/50 Drawing
    • Damon Stultz won $48.50
