Our May meeting, "Big Brew" was held on Saturday, May 3 at Harry's house in Roanoke. Bryan and John both brewed in honor of the day. We also had a Fast Rack Challenge with Dan, Justin, & Kevin being the top scorers.

April\'s meeting was held at members Bryan & Jenny S.\'s house in Roanoke on April 6. This meeting included the commercial tasting of IIPA beers for the competition which will be held in June.

Held on February 16, 2013 at Chris McD\'s house in Roanoke. This meeting marked the year\'s first technical demonstration in which member Mike U. did a yeast starter and dry yeast rehydration demonstration. Mike did a fantastic job explaining to us the importance of building an appropriate cell count of healthy yeast, and taking us through the process step by step with actual starter wort.
